Privacy policy
What data this website processes, how it is used and what rights you have.
Last updated: 9 October 2026Responsibility & scope
This policy describes the RENAISSANCE Studio website as currently configured. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies in an individual case, its additional requirements must be taken into account.
Still to be added: the controller’s full name and address, and a direct email address for data protection enquiries. Operator details are listed in the Legal notice page.
Your contact enquiry
When you submit the form, we store your name, email address, your selection of “Brand/company” or “Private individual”, the service required and your project description. For company enquiries, we also store the company or brand name. Your phone number and preferred date are optional.
These details are used to process your enquiry, respond to you and prepare a potential project. The website does not use them for an automatic newsletter or marketing mailing list. Please only include information necessary for your enquiry in free-text fields, and do not submit sensitive personal data.
Your enquiry is stored in a database and can only be accessed in the application through the studio owner’s protected area. To prevent duplicate submissions, we store an enquiry identifier and a technical verification value. The email address and time of receipt are also used to limit repeated enquiries.
The contact form does not send your details to a generative AI model. Any later production involving client data and AI tools must be agreed separately.
Hosting, access & recipients
This website runs on WordPress on a server at DigitalOcean. The inquiry database and media storage are part of this installation. Hosting providers may process data as part of technical operations.
When you visit, technically necessary connection data such as your IP address, time of access, requested address, and browser and device information is sent to the infrastructure. This supports delivery, stability and security. The scope and retention period of any platform logs remain to be confirmed.
The protected studio area uses WordPress sign-in. The application processes the account identifier and assigned permissions to check access. The WordPress user account also stores the registered email address and any name details provided.
To be added before public release: the specific contracted service providers, the actual countries of processing and — where data is disclosed to countries without adequate data protection — the applicable safeguards or exceptions. Storage exclusively in Switzerland is not currently confirmed.
Retention & security
Contact enquiries are currently stored indefinitely in the enquiry database; no automatic deletion period has yet been configured. Before public use, it must be established when completed enquiries will be deleted, which statutory retention requirements apply in individual cases and how deletion will be implemented.
Access to enquiries within the application is restricted to the owner’s account. Complete security of every data transfer or storage operation cannot be guaranteed.
Still to be confirmed: retention periods for enquiries, technical logs and backups, and the process for handling deletion requests.
Your rights
Within the scope of applicable law, you may in particular request information about the processing of your personal data and the correction of inaccurate information. You may also request deletion or the cessation of processing; statutory obligations and other legal grounds may prevent this in individual cases.
Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent for the future. Further rights, such as data disclosure or portability, apply under the relevant statutory conditions. An appropriate identity check may be required to process a request.
A direct contact address for access, correction and deletion requests has yet to be added.
Information about data protection in Switzerland is available from the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). Wenn du eine Datenschutzverletzung vermutest, kannst du dich an die zuständige Aufsichtsbehörde wenden.
Changes to this policy
If new features or services are added, this policy must be updated to reflect the actual data processing. The last updated date appears at the top of this page.
